Zoo Animal Activity

Learning about animals is always a fun unit. I developed some Play-Doh Mats, Pop-up Zoo and Flash Cards for accompany a Curious George at the Zoo Book and Super Simple Songs YouTube Video for my kids. The Pop-up Zoo is printable and great for teachers who have minimal toys and resources for their students.

A few months back one of my smartest students wanted me to teach him some more challenging animals for tricking his dad at hangman. I selected a capybara among other things. Last week, I finally saw one for the first time at Ocean Park in Hong Kong!

El Capitan Capybara:

*Cool Fact: The capybara is the largest rodent in the world!
