Sea Animal Activity
Learning about animals is always a fun unit. I developed some Play-Doh Mats and Flash Cards for accompany a Dr. Seuss Book and YouTube Video for my kids.
The PDF includes:
– Teacher tips – p. 1-3
– Sea Animal Flash Cards – p. 4-6
– Sea Animal Play-Doh Mats – p. 7-18
-Materials: You will need scissors or a paper cutter.
-I recommend lamination or printing on card stock paper for years of use!
-Great to include with Ocean lesson plans. Display on a bulletin board or use for classroom decor.
Music: Pair the activity with ‘The Underwater Song (children’s “sea animal” song)‘ from ‘Toddler World TV’ on YouTube.
Book: Hark! A Shark!: All About Sharks (Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library) by Bonnie Worth

My inspiration for these beautiful creatures came from my recent trip to
Ocean Park in Hong Kong.
